Belgravia
The aim of this project was to bring together the conversion of two flats with a master bedroom and 3 smaller bedrooms, creating design cohesion throughout the newly formed house.
Dining Room
The majority of the wood chosen for this room was walnut that was stained a warm brown colour to add a luxurious feel. We added further detail to lift the various pieces of furniture, including uniquely designed hand forged handles crafted in the UK.
The dining table was made using two cylindrical pedestals made from bur walnut with nickel rings and a dark walnut base to contrast with the pedestals. The dark base was used to match with the mirrored panels on the walls. To finish the look I chose a glass top for the dining table to show the detail on the pedestals and create the feeling of space.
The cabinets and mirrored panels on the walls were designed to streamline the main wall, making it totally flush. The mirrored panels bring more light into the room, doubling the feeling of space in the room.
The console table and mirror were made in walnut to ensure design cohesion in the room. The console table used bronze mirror to tone down the bright shine and bronze trim as a finishing touch.
The radiator cover has a flow air system to allow maximum heat release while still maintaining the sleek elegant style.
