Kensington

This brief for this design was to hide the stereo and video equipment with the look of a heavy sideboard. We cross matched the veneer on the unit to add detail and made the furniture very thick to give it a substantial feel while still keeping it light. This is what I like to think of as modern minimalism; A few well-placed pieces with rich warm colours to give comfort and enjoyment, taking away from the coldness of the minimalism, as we know it. Follow the principle but not the rule.
